Joseph Gilbert – Tennis Director Joseph Gilbert was born in Louisiana, but grew up playing tennis in Southern California. Joseph finished his junior career as one of the top sectional and nation ranked players, both in singles and doubles. After his junior career, he accepted a full athletic scholarship to Boise State University and played on team that ranked #2 in NCAA. Joseph also played for Fresno State and Sacramento State where he won three conference titles from three different schools. Joseph started coaching in 2001 and since then has coached a variety of players ranging from top local juniors, nationally ranked juniors, Division I college players, WTA Tour and ATP Tour players.

Dan Patterson – Assistant ProDan is a man of few words but lots of experience. He’s been in the business, both playing & instructing, for 30+ years. When asked about his accomplishments, awards & professional accolades, he simply says he has them but just enjoys playing & coaching others.

Mari Maattanen – Assistant Pro I have been coaching for over 9 great years, which has been a wonderful period for developing tennis players and enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. I have worked with world class players in France and the United States, and yet still love to train recreational and competitive players at the club level. I feel that tennis is a game for everyone to enjoy and experience. Tennis is such an important part of my life as well as for my family. I hope I can share my passion with you on the court.

Sherif Zaher – Sports Performance Development Coach Some of my major accomplishments include: ranked in the top 50 ITF singles and doubles, participated at Wimbledon championship, NCAA title (University at Georgia), 2-time Big Sky Conference player of the year, ranking as high as 1 in the nation in the 30′s division (USTA doubles ranking), and 6 years as a Division 1 men’s tennis head coach.On a sports psychology level, I have helped numerous athletes in different sports which include tennis, soccer, basketball, golf, baseball and gymnastics. I focus on helping athletes become more aware of their thoughts, and providing them with the coping techniques that enable them to make positive changes to their game, which will ultimately help them maximize their potential.
